Very nice sharpening stone. It was hard to fit into the leather pouch at first, but getting it damp helped the leather form and fits great. The two sides of the stone are different grits to work a sharp edge. Overall very nice product.

Nice quality sharpener. It does the trick. Got a pretty good gouge out of my axe. Shipped fast and is exactly what I needed

This stone does what one would reasonable expect. To me that means it cleans up moderate to heavy used cutting edges nicely. I keep all my blade edges well maintained, so I cannot speak to how well it works to recover a damaged edge, but experience tells be it would likely do the job (within reason). Great product. I wish I had purchased one sooner.
